What To Expect In My Classes

The style of yoga I teach is fluid, explorative and playful. It is inspired by Vinyasa Yoga, a type of yoga where the transition between poses matters as much as the poses themselves.

I find it a beautiful metaphor of focusing on and enjoying the journey towards the destination. Then I spice it up with some elements of dance, movement and surprise. A gentle and efficient way to keep my clients focused on the awareness of their body, the way it works as a whole and how to overcome limiting beliefs about themselves.

I can’t help infusing my classes with my other life interests, from life coaching to theatre, neurosciences to philosophy, mindfulness to breathwork. I see yoga as a beautiful and embodied way to explore and share conceptual ideas.

At last, but not least, I love the felt sense of connection brought by yoga. Connection through a shared practice, through the subtle levels of presence, through the laughter that are also often part of my classes!

Ways To Practise With Me

During lockdown, I will be teaching online …..

One to One

Whether you are a complete newcomer wanting to explore yoga before joining group classes or a yogi with specific goals, one to one sessions are the optimal way to accompany you on a tailormade journey, focusing on your personal needs and desires. The beauty of yoga is that it suits and benefits everybody, whatever your age, gender, physical condition…so come and play with me!

£60/hour

Small Groups

Small groups, up to 4 people, are an amazing opportunity to share a meaningful moment with friends. A small number allows me to keep a specific attention to each of the participants and adapt my classes to your goals and desires. It might feel also less intimidating than a one to one session and is financially much more affordable. All good reasons to gather some friends and give it a go!

£80/hour (in total, 2 to 4 people)

For corporate classes, bigger private groups, yoga retreats, festivals, please get in touch to discuss.

Client Feedback

“Yoga with Franck brings sunshine into any day. His positive energy and playful practice style, is unique. It’s perfect for exploring, from ‘mindfulness’ style mantras to the power of creative movement. Every session is collaborative and Franck is brilliant at communicating with his class to make sure the practice is adapted to help everyone achieve their personal goals. If you haven’t already, you should try it!”

Susannah, private client small group

“Taking yoga classes with Franck is always a wonderful experience. He has extensive knowledge of body movement and masterfully designs flows that both strengthen, release tension and get the energy flowing through your body. When I have had injuries, he has been able to adapt moves and recommend stretches that helped me through the recovery process. I always leave our sessions feeling refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend Franck to beginners or more advanced students who would like a personalised experience and to feel more grounded in the midst of our often busy and fast-paced lives”.

“Franck is THE yoga teacher. He has a very professional yet approachable style, making every yoga session a real treat for mind and body. He helped me use yoga to improve recovery from a large operation, which was a real bonus at a difficult time. I’d highly recommend regular sessions for a truly balanced lifestyle!”.

My Yoga Journey

I resisted trying yoga for a long time and had the impression that it was a bit woo-woo! I had visions of women in fashion leggings exhibiting their toned belly’s on idyllic beaches drinking kale juices. I also thought it was a very slow practice that involved maintaining poses for hours.

In 2017 I found myself living next to a yoga studio in London called Stretch. The name kind of confirmed my apprehension, but after some recommendations I decided to take the discovery offer, a one-month unlimited pass. And I got hooked!

I discovered a practice that was much more than just a physical exercise. It was rediscovering my body. Coming home. Understanding my psychological patterns through physical exploration. Getting free of some of my limitations. Allowing myself to be and to grow, in an unforced but demanding way.

Don’t get me wrong, it was also very physical! I could feel, week after week, the transformation of my body - strength, flexibility, mobility. I found also a community of open minded people, far from the stereotype I described above. A community who were open to questioning life, questioning their practice, and had a thirst for learning and exploring. No surprise that it matched with the questions addict, the life explorer and the movement lover that I am.

So I carried on my yoga journey with a 250-hour yoga teacher training, and another 150-hour advanced yoga teacher training. I’ve since taught at Stretch London, Move Hackney, Anytime Fitness as well as offered private classes, both one to one and small groups.
